AAM Action Alert

Just Announced – Museums Advocacy Day Registration Deadline Extended to Monday, Feb. 22!

Despite the recent winter weather in Washington, DC the business of Congress continues in full force as we prepare for Museums Advocacy Day 2010 – March 22-23 in Washington, DC.

Don’t miss this unique, field-wide opportunity to get advocacy training, network with colleagues from your state, attend a reception at the U.S. Botanic Gardens with Members of Congress and congressional staff invited, and make visits to your legislators’ Capitol Hill offices—all scheduled by AAM!

“There is truth in the old adage that there is strength in numbers,” said AAM president Ford W. Bell. “We need every impassioned advocate to help us build on the success of our first Museums Advocacy Day, in 2009. Every voice counts, and when we join together to speak as one, Congress will listen. Please join us this March.”
